People often ask me, what makes your team unique when it comes to intervention? The answer is quite simple. At Drew Horowitz & Associates, we do things a little different.
Two interventionists at every intervention
- It is often said that two is better than one. In the case of intervention, that is accurate! That is why at every professional intervention we facilitate, there two trained interventionists present. This allows for greater insight and analysis of the case being handled. Additionally, one interventionist can often help with the family, while the other professional can speak directly with the addicted individual. It goes without saying that outcomes are better, and clients greatly appreciate the extra support.
We are clinical
- The criteria I hold for myself, and the four other Drew Horowitz & Associates interventionists are grounded in what I know to be the clinical foundation necessary to do the job. Licensure in both addiction and mental health gives interventionists the training and background without which, I can say with absolute certainty, I and others would be inadequately prepared to facilitate what can be last-chance efforts. Advanced degrees hardwire clinical interventionists with a sixth sense, a feel for the process, that equips them to say the right thing at the right moment and make decisions quickly—decisions that can determine the course of someone’s life and an entire family’s future. A strong ethical base and understanding of client welfare ensure that these decisions don’t neglect components that are necessary for protecting people. Unintentional harm is still harm.
Experts in health insurance
- When it comes to admitting clients into treatment, it is imperative that one understands health insurance and all the nuances associated with authorizations. At DHA, we are experts in this process, with vast knowledge of health insurance, prior authorizations and the necessary processes needed to obtain insurance authorizations. This allows our team to set expectations for families and loved ones when preparing to get a person into treatment. More importantly, we can navigate the admission process to ensure a person who is willing to get treatment, gets treatment!
Masters of intervention
- Experience counts, and when it comes to intervention, we do it well! Our team facilitated nearly 200 interventions in 2021 and we are anticipating even more in 2022. We are fluent in intervention as this is a service we provide often and successfully to families around the US. Our team has a set of standards when it comes to intervention, we do it professionally, ethically and with confidence.
Thank you for partnering with us to help those struggling with substance use disorder. Our dedicated team of clinicians is ready and prepared to service individuals and their families 7 days per week.
